Little Londyn and Simply Happy

Hello Everyone!

My name is Megan Miles and I am the owner of Little Londyn. Little Londyn specializes in custom dance wear which I design. But because my Mom, Dodi Lee Poulsen, is the designer of this new line, Simply Happy for Riley Blake Designs, I get wrangled into being her assistant!

Actually, I love doing this for my Mom and what better excuse is there for creating these adorable outfits for my 3 girls? And of course, I get to chose from any of the fabrics, so it’s a win - win!

  

One of my favorite designs is the Border Print---It’s gorgeous! Mom chose 3 yummy colors to print these in.

 

It’s a 45” wide piece of fabric that has so many possibilities. When I saw these prints, I thought my littlest would be perfect to make a dress for using this design.

You can see how lovely this dress looks in the Border print. The bright colors on the pale pink is beautiful.

I combined it with 2 additional prints and it’s just adorable. This pattern is from my favorite

children’s pattern designer, Violette Field Threads. This is called the Poppy pattern.

Next up is my middle daughter. She’s my lover of all things comfortable. Violette Field Threads just released this great romper, called Priscilla; she had to have it. Look how Simply Happy rocks it!  And of course, there is nothing better than wearing Grandma’s fabric.

Lastly, my oldest wears the new Kennedy pattern by VFT as well. Look at that fabulous peacock blue color and fabric in the skirt. My FAVORITE color of the bunch in this line. (actually, I told my Mom this color would be amazing…and she actually listened!) This diagonal stripe is fun too and so versatile.

I love the tiny roses printed on the diagonal.

Don’t these outfits look wonderful against the amazing Starstruck pattern    (find pattern here) that my Mom designed for this line?
