ReplyDeleteI like the idea of having storage hanging from under your machine. Maybe I should try that with my safety pins... I just finished machine quilting a fairly large quilt and knocked my whole pail of (open) basting pins off the counter and all over the carpet. Maybe I'd be less clutzy if my container was weighed down. :)

ReplyDeleteIt just depends on where you are in your sewing experience as to what type of sewing machine you should be using. If you are just beginning, you probably don't need a real fancy one until you are sure that you really enjoy this as a hobby, so I would definitely recommend cheap sewing machines.
