100 Blocks!

It's that time once more. Here's the 5th block I've done for a Quiltmaker Magazine.
 This one is PAPER PIECED.. 
Now don't go getting scared. It's way easier than you think!

FANCY FREE BLOCK


The paper template is in the magazine and you will 
have to make enough copies to make the number of blocks desired for your project. 
It takes a bit more time, but the results are worth it!
   
  
You will find the latest edition of Quiltmaker's at your local store or you can post a comment below and win a copy!  Head on over to Quiltmaker's and post a comment on their site as well for more chances to win gift baskets and a magazine!

Here are few ideas on layout's for this block. The Fabric is Gypsy Girl from Moda that came out last Spring. I picked up a fat quarter bundle at Market.



This layout uses just a quarter section of the block...

 Just add sashings here and you have a totally new look

  2. I love your setting on the first quilt-the one with pinwheels! I am gonna have to try paper piecing now! My quilting buddy keeps telling me how much fun it is but I have never tried it! I love to piece quilts and love to make them exact, so this just might be my jumping in place to start! I love your block! Can't wait to get my hands on a copy of Volume 7!
