It's that time again! Welcome to Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks. I am excited to have participated once more. This is a fabulous edition full of new ideas and lots of creativity.

Wow! can you believe there have been FIVE, yes FIVE issues of 100 Blocks magazines? I am happy to have been included in this volume. Quiltmaker has given me a copy to give away, so be sure to comment on this post before midnight, Friday May 4th! And of course we will throw in a few good treats of our own!

I loved working with Art Gallery Fabrics by Patricia Bravo. If you haven't used her fabrics yet, you are certainly missing out. They feel like butter and sew like a dream. Her fabrics are a delightful combination of rich colors and great threads. She definately inspires me! see more on their website.

TWO SISTERS AT SQUIRREL HOLLOW NEW RELEASES
We've been busy here at Squirrel Hollow and Little Londyn. Spring Market in Kansas City is just 2 short weeks away and we are making our final prepartions to leave with all our new pattern releases. I will have a new book out, A Perfect Cut, ( hummmm, somone might just win this when it comes in next week!), along with 2 new patterns, Chinese Penny and Mulberry Lane. Little Londyn will have 5 new patterns out and you are going to love them!

ReplyDeleteI like your Watercolor Block because I am a beginner and this is very straightforward and easy to make which is what I know I can make. I even like the secondary pattern which indeed does add more dimension for such a strking pattern of its own. With your fabrics, the block looks like a lily floating in a serene pond. So pretty!

ReplyDeleteOh pretty, color combos are great! The design reminds me a bit of Double Irish Chain, and I like both layouts too. Not only does it have great space for a spotlight fabric, but also for spotlighting pretty quilting designs. Thank you for a chance to win copies and goodies.
